Representing Yourself in Federal District Court

Representing Yourself in Federal District Court: A Handbook for Pro Se Litigants (Handbook), published by the Federal Bar Association, is an informational guide for pro se litigants in the federal court system.  The Handbook does not offer legal advice and should not be considered as legal authority.  If you plan to file, or have a case pending, in the District of Delaware, you must comply with the District of Delaware’s Local Rules of Civil Practice and Procedure (Local Rules) and/or any Orders(s) issued by the Court.  In the event of conflicting information between Delaware’s practices, polices, Local Rules and the Handbook, this District’s practices, polices and Local Rules supersede the Handbook.
